Anyone besides @princerefugee get preexisting events to import into the iPhone?
My work around was just to edit my events and resave them and they show up but I'm not convinced that this exchange works on events you made before the link.
I dinked with my google settings, my...
Your right, it doesn't. Which is why I am confused.
The sync setting in the exchange server? I boosted it up from 3 days to 1 month and still no import from google. I have an event side by side, one on my existing calendar and on I just made on the iPhone and only the iPhone event is showing up...
Or do I only get the dynamic link from the time I turned on the function?
Either way it's cool I just need to know if I need to reenter my events going forward or if I can import events that existed before today.
I am impressed at the speed at which the entry I created in my phone populated to the google calendar but none of my preexisting events in google calendar populated back to my phone.
Is there an initial push I need to do to get them talking from google -> iPhone?
Yes I did use swaptunes. That's a good call on the culprit.
I took the advice above and restored the phone and it cleared out everything. Had to reinput my tunes and apps but the notes were fine and the contacts synced well so far as I can tell.
So I stripped down a lot of programs I didn't see myself using to see how much room I could free up.
I'm stripped way down and yet I still have 2.2 GB of "other" listed in my iTunes system management tool.
Is that excessively large? How can I prune what may be hidden?
How much "other"...
I stuck with 1.1.1 and passed on 1.1.2 because I didn't want to loose some apps but now I think I'm ready to go ahead with this patch.
Do I still need to revirginize my iPhone or is that something that has since been worked out in the updating process?
If so does anyone have a link to that...
Using the iPhone with a remote system, how does one execute a "right click".
For anyone who plays World of Warcraft, I am trying to set up a character right next to the auction house so that I can log in on my iPhone, right click the auction house and open the vendor.
I can only do this with...
With the new apptap (looks GREAT) recommending 1.1.1. I feel ready to make the leap in firmware.
I need to ask a few things so I make sure my info is protected.
First - Will the firmware upgrade wipe all existing apps and I'll have to reload?
Second - Is it safe to upgrade to the new iTunes...
