The retina MacBook Pro was just refreshed. As for the older, non-retina MacBook Pro, I don't see Apple refreshing that model. There's too much overlap in the products and the cost of retina has come down. Add to that, Apple has been slowly moving towards an entire product line that features retina displays.

What are your requirements?

Thanks @chris, I just passed my 2014 MBP to my daughter for college and thought of using this opportunity to upgrade. I run parallels for occasional windows 8.1 use, but mainly use my machine for office applications and web browsing. I like having the extra muscle over the air line. I was thinking of the 8GB of RAM and 256 HD, maybe upgrading to a 512, the cost is high for the 512 though
