So it looks like the other download came up as a folder of various inside instead of a .ipsw, How's your upload coming along @shutter

Don't use safari to download it, safari recognizes it as a compressed folder and unpacks it. Use firefox.

Let me know, I will add your udid immediately, as well as the other guy's if it doesn't work. At least this way we will know definitively.

Hey Shutter, should I unzip the file before trying to restore my phone or just use the zip it self?

I used firefox to DL the file and just now unzipped it, but the .ipsw file is nowhere to be found. All I have is a file named restore?

That seems strange, it must be in there somewhere, what was the file size you downloaded?

230mb?
