Alright, so...

My plan is eligible for an upgrade since I've had my number for over a year. To upgrade to an iPhone 3G 8GB is $300. I would be upgrading from.. well.. an iPhone 3G 8GB. I was planning on unlocking the old one and selling it (or perhaps the new one). Worth it? I plan on sticking with my company for years anyway, so the extension of the plan doesn't bother me one bit.

Hold off for the new iPhone that's expected by June/July.

I am confused (must be old age) you would be upgrading from a 3g 8gb to a 3g 8gb why would you do that? Or am I missing something.

I was thinking the same thing. My guess is that OP meant to say "upgrading from a V1 8gb."

I should have put "upgrade" in quotes. Both phones are exactly the same. I'm just wondering if it would be a good deal, that's all, then trying to go and buy one on the side.

Aren't refurbs going for 8gb-$99 and 16gb-$199?!? Of course with new 2yr activations.

A mutual friend who really wanted to get rid of it. >_>

I guess I should thank the tough economy.
