A few days ago I checked the price for the iPhone and it said 399. I knew my upgrade wasn't until 2010 so I was fine with the price. I just checked back and the price of the phone is 599. What the hell happened?

at the ATT website its 399.99 and 499.99 for 32gb no commitment price:eek:
First off, a 32GB can't have two no commitment prices.:) Secondly, the no commitment price is $599-$699 for the 16GB and 32GB respectively. The $399-$499 are for most current 3G owners.
Welcome to EIC.

The no commitment price is $599/$699 if you bought your iPhone 3g subsidized or another subsidized phone not very long ago. You can always call AT&T to find out why it changed. They recently changed some of the policies to allow 3g early adopters to upgrade at the full subsidy and if they re-reviewed your account they might have decided that you were not eligible for the $399/$499 subsidy. Like I said, call them and find out what they see in their system about your eligibility.

I know if you're late even by a couple days on your bill it will raise the price. I was eligible to upgrade & I was a couple days late & the price went up to $599 for the 32gb I paid my bill & it immediately went back down to the $299 price.
