the last 2 days my 3gs has been locking up on the main screen where I enter my passcode. I tried several times to had boot it, but it keeps happening. I noticed that the Power button is off balanced as if it was pressed too hard and now its stuck....

I even tried to take off the passcode entirely, but when I when I go to Settings, passcode lock, the iPhone freezes again.

I have had the 3GS since 3/2011, can I take it to an Apple store to exchange it since it's under 1 year?

any help is appreciated.

Make an appointment with a genius at an Apple store and take it to them. I am sure of the problem exists they will replace it for you. Especially it being a 3GS.

They still advertise them so I would think they still would have them in stock. I believe they are keeping them around as they have become a entry level phone from Apple.

I guess that's possible but I would think to do that they just do an upgrade think or I'm known people that did get the new phone discounted. As they say it never hurts to ask.

Went to the Applle store. My wife got a brand new 3GS. How do I properly sync it back to everything she had? She uses my Apple is and I used iCloud to back everything up. It just didn't come with iOS5 so I'm updating that now.
