I've been using SwiftKey on my Galaxy S4 for over a year and love it. Swipe to type is the coolest idea ever, once you get used to it. I never type anymore, I always swipe. I can't wait to get my iPhone 6+ on Friday and the first app that will get installed is SwiftKey!

I really like SwiftKey, but in some places, the text field can not be seen. I first noticed this when reviewing an app in the App Store. I noticed in other apps later. Hopefully they will fix that in an update.

Hi. Am looking for a specific kind of keyboard, colour wise. I've attached two pics and I'm wondering if anyone has come across any apps which features keyboards like those in the attached pics. Would really like to get a blue backlit keyboard. Any help would be appreciated and am sorry for posting pics which are not iphones

You might try Kiwi. You can customize the colors. Here's one in blue!

I didn't like any of the Swype type keyboards but I love Emoji++. I removed the stock emoji keyboard and now use ++ exclusively. It's almost impossible to find in iTunes with the search, so here is a link. The advantage is great organization of all Emoji's, with a favorites section that you can customize.

Pardon my driving, I'm not texting, I'm reloading
Are there any new or different emoji the stock does not have? Or is it just organized different? It's .99 cents. I don't know if I want to pay that for just a different organization.

What would be a benefit of a third-party keyboard? The two that are interesting to me are Swype and SwiftKey. I haven't found anything wrong with the stock one. I can type pretty quickly with my thumbs.

For me, I can't see the predictive words on the stock keyboard very well. It's too light and washed out looking. SwiftKey is black with white letters. Much easier on my eyes. It's why I sometimes use TapaTalk. It has a dark theme.

I absolutely love SwiftKey!! All you have to do is drag to type. It's like the Android keyboard so I was told.

Good. I wouldn't know haha. I've just read on here that it is.

One issue that has been mentioned around the forum is that the keyboard sometimes disappears. To fix this I force close messages. Is there a reason for this? Maybe because it's 3rd party?
That and freezing up. I have to force close Messages as well.
