This may be old news for some, but I was seeing some performance issues with Lion on my late 08' aluminum MacBook, so I found an article about upping the RAM more than what Apple "officially" claims will work. I ordered the 8GB from other World Computing for 67 bucks and it worked like a charm! I had 4GB before, but with the 8, she feels like new again.

Just thought it was a good FYI.

Think it would work on a late '07 13" MacBook?
Also could you reference the article link?
My Mac is full of molasses since Lion upgrade!

You don't want a bigger, but a faster HD -> That would be an SSD.

Sorry for not responding here, I rarely check this section. My late 08' MacBook has been running great with the 8gb of ram. I would love to get a SSD, but for the size I want, I can't justify the cost right now! OWC says that a SSD speeds up boot time by like 140 seconds. It would be nice...
