Accessing WiFi I get 'Unable to join the network "Randomizer" message?

I just got a replacement iPhone 3GS. My wireless router at home is up and running (I'm accessing this site through it right now). My iPhone finds my network and two others nearby. When I tap on either of the other two, it prompts me for a password. When I tap on mine, it tells me 'Unable to join the network "Randomizer".'

Am I an idiot?

Try restarting your phone, restarting the router, and on the phone click the blue arrow next to Randomizer and see if there is a "Forget this Network" at the top. If so, click it, then reconnect.

I get that message once in a while at home. I unplug both the Internet box and wireless router for 10 seconds and I'm back on wifi.

That did it. Thanks, guys.

However, it might also have depended on all the steps that a friend walked me through. It was a royal mess.
