I am currently 1 year into my contract since I got the 16gb iPhone 5 when it came out. I would really like to get a 32gb 5S.

I only have an individual account which I have had for years. Is it possible or feasible to get another line for my account so that I will have upgradeable phone every year or should I just pay the extra $250 for the "discounted" price on the new phone. I do not have any family or shared option on my account Thanks

    That's a good question.

Paying the $250 extra now would be a lot less than you'd pay over the course of two years for an extra line.

After some thought I came to the same conclusion. Plus I can sell the 5 for at least $300 to cover that $250 cost. If I didn't want to go to a larger size I probably wouldn't bother at all. Thanks for the reply.

I am going to completely agree with Europa on this one! I have had all iPhones except the 3S and 4S and whenever I have sold my phone it has been more than enough to cover the early upgrade fee.
