I currently only have the 200 text plan. I remember seeing somewhere how much each additional text costs if and when I go over, but I can't remember how much it was. Sooo....how much does each additional text message cost?

After searching this forum (which I should have done before I posted) I found someone say that it is only 5 cents for each text. Can anyone confirm?

I think it is 10 cents only if you don't have any plan at all.

It is $.10 per to send or receive. It used to be 5 cents, but that was a long time ago.

yeah it is 10cents for each text (sent and received). it sucks when your friends know you are over but they STILL send you texts...

that's why it's unlimited or off for me.

Everywhere I have looked besides this forum has said it is 5 cents for each text sent/received over your 200.

I think it is $.05 for each additional if you have the 1500 text message plan. For the 200 SMS plan, the additional are $.10 each.

OK. That makes sense. I have never had the 1500 plan and couldn't figure out where everyone was getting this nickel idea.

It's 5 cents per overage for the 200 plan.

3 cents per overage for the 1500 plan.

That's from the US AT&T data plans. If you can access your account online, just check your data usage. Below the usage meter are the "cost per additional" charges in CAPS.
