Hmm. I think I would like that. For anti theft purposes.

even if it wasn't offerend online couldnt you get it at like any engraving store?
the ipod can have engravings online (i think) so it would make sense if they did it for the iPhone too...

Why pay someone when you can easily do it yourself:

Nice! You'd void the warranty installing the bomb, but who cares?

Yeah, if you have a problem with the device, I don't think the Apple Service Centers are going to accept delivery of any iPod or iPhone with a third party bomb installed. I'm sure you'd have to have an authentic Apple bomb installed to not void the warranty.

I'm pretty sure their lawyers wrote this into the service agreements somewhere. Who really reads those things anyway. :)

Well I'm sure if you have an Apple Pro Care card the iBomb will be installed for free....with full iPhone replacement if it detonates....

Different skins?

How many colors will they offer? If I but the black one first, and then they wind up offering other colors? could I trade it for another?
anyone know?

They have only announced black so far. If down the road they offer new colors, I think you will be out of luck. You could always sell your black one and buy a new one I guess ;).
