Okay, break it down, which do you prefer, Alerts or Banner, and why?
banners by a million miles. It's out of the way, goes away and doesn't pause what you're doing.
Completely agree. Definitely prefer the banner. Though my Mom prefers the Alert as she said the Banner is harder to read; granted she doesn't play many games on her iPhone.
yeah, i don't know why anyone would stick with alerts.
Love banner because it comes out at the top. I'm not sure there's an app I want to notify me in the center of the screen.
Sent from my iPhone using iCafe app
I could see how the alerts might be better for some, it's easier on the eyes and some could have a hard time w/the small print....but for me banner all the way, bring on the glasses! Lol.
Banners for sure. Although important things like reminders are nice to have an alert since they usually require an action right then and there.
To be completely honest, I like the alerts. I have missed several texts and don't see it until a little bit later when I see I have a text.
Banners are nice.
But, isn't it weird how emails and Twitter message show massive, in the middle of the screen when the first message comes in on a locked iPhone screen?
I know I can press the lock button twice, and they start to stack, but...
all notifications do that on the lock screen when they first come in. After the initial notification, then they all stack.
AH! Thanks. I need to let a few of my notifications pile up to see this
