Hey guys and gals...

I'm finally going to bite the bullet and get a mounting system for my iPhone in the car. I would like one that has flexible positioning, can handle a phone in a case (seidio super slim rubberized hard case), has a dock connection for charging via 12v outlet, as well as a music connection (ideally also through the dock) that can run to the 1/8" aux in jack in my Element.

I've perused the store here but haven't found anything that fits that description. Lots with FM transmitters, which I don't need or want. Am I bad at looking for things, or is this particular niche not yet filled?

Thanks for any insight...

I have used one of these, but do not own one. It has a jack on the cig. lighter part for a 3.5mm cable and a gain adjust dial. You could use this in conjunction with any mount you want so you're not confined to having to mount it from the cig. lighter? It's not an all-in-one solution, but may give you more options.

They sell these at Target also!

I knew I could count on the EIC to come through. You guys rock.

That first one is perfect, feature-wise, but I'm unsure whether that mount will work on the Element dash.

The second one might be better... pair it with a mount that works.

Regardless, I will post pics of whatever I get. Thanks again, guys...

Hey man, always here to help............ and make wisecracks when needed.

I think some rubber-bands, duct-tape, and a couple coat hangers should make a nifty mount for you box (aka, Element).
