This is really pissing me off. I hold down the Option key on my iMac to boot into Windows and it doesn't. 9 times out of 10 it doesn't. I want to smash the keyboard! Is there an alternative to the option key? I don't want to make Bootcamp my startup disk because I'm afraid the Option key won't let me boot back into Lion. I tried BootChamp, but it always wants to boot into windows.

That's odd when I'm in Windows Bootchamp let's me reboot to Mac and vice versa when I'm in Mac. Mac seems to be my default. BTW, I can't remember how to change the default, do you?
I do have problems using the alt key on a Windows keyboard, but the option key always works on the Mac keyboard - just have to press and hold early in the restart.

weird. never had that issue, myself. You can try rEFIt. I think it comes up by default without any keypresses.
