I have never ordered any cases from amazon but I found a incipio stowaway for a lot cheaper than in stores. Has anyone ever ordered from them? If so what are the chances of it being a fake case? I know there are a lot of fakes on eBay but not sure about amazon. Any advice is appreciated.

You're welcome. Amazon sells products themselves, however others sell their used cases and other products that may be "knockoff" products and not real.

What Money said. I've bought an Otterbox case on amazon, and threw all caution to the wind and picked the cheapest. I ended up getting a knock off from some fly by night company in China.... Lesson learned. They did refund my money though...

Unfortunately, people will try and sneak their way through to get easy money with knockoff products. I'm glad you got your money back though. :)

I've ordered cases from Amazon before.

My suggestion to you is to buy one that says "Ships from and sold by Amazon.com."

That's how I buy my cases and I buy a lot of them. I'll always opt for the added expenditure of buying a sold and shipped from Amazon item.

I would suggest also buying on Amazon that says sold by Amazon. Or check the ratings of the person selling and see if they seem reliable or not.

I think reading customer reviews of the product can be really useful. Also, look out for a warranty/guarantee - that way you can buy in confidence and know you can get your money back if you're not satisfied. A friend of mine bought a case from Amazon that they were really happy with, a Fonerize Leather Wallet and iPhone 4 Case. Hope that helps!
