Hi EIC.com folk! I just wanted to share with you that my wife & I just had a little girl, Elizabeth. She's terribly premature (27 weeks, 1lb 14oz) but doing very well. Jennifer is looking at the hospital dinner menu right now, which is incredible given that she was having a C-section 8 hours ago.

Prayers and/or hopes for Liz are welcome. Best to you all!

Congratulations! Guess that sweet baby girl just couldn't wait another day to meet her Mommy and Daddy.

Sending good thoughts your way as you support your wife through her recovery from the C-section and the stress of Elizabeth's premature arrival.

Thanks everyone for your well wishing. It means a lot, it really does. Very cool, indeed!
Elizabeth is doing great, considering she weights about one fifth the smaller of our two cats.
For those who are interested, I posted a blog of her story with some photos:

It's probably as close to a 'reveal' as I'll get!

Cheers,
