I've just read in a website the folowing solutions for my problem related to my iPhone screen:

  • Tap Settings on the home screen. Tap General. Tap Auto-Lock. Set to “Never.”
  • Tap Settings on the home screen. Tap Brightness. Turn Auto-Brightness off.
Has anybody already tried those solutions? Did they work?

Forgive my ignorance, but if the screen is frozen, how are they suppose to tap anything?
Since updating to 1.1.3 jailed, I have had the screen freeze once. I held the home key for about 20 seconds, then held the power key for about 10 and then let it sit for a minute.
It came back with a locked screen. I unlocked and was fine. The key is patience. However, if it keeps happening, restore and see if that fixes it, and if not, take it to Apple.

I have a I Pod Touch and it won't boot up when I press the home key it only goes to the Apple Icon and then off. Is there a way to reset the unit? What do I do?
