Apple email - defective SIM card

    I've heard of this happening to others. A first for me. Apparently the SIM in my 6+ is defective and they are overnighting me a new one. I haven't had any issues though. Incoming and outgoing calls are fine.

    Anyone else get contacted by Apple? I'll probably leave things as is. If it ain't broke, don't fix it, right? But I'll hold on to that new SIM card.

    That's interesting. I did get a pop-message on my wife's iPhone 6 that she needed a new SIM card and that all the features would not work. We already had a card that shipped with it. I got around to activating it this week. Not sure why the change, at least in my case.

    It's legit too. I have tracking from Apple and everything. Oh well. :)

    There is something new on the sim cards and I was told from AT&T it is HD calling feature

    Hmmm. Wonder if I should request new SIM cards for our phones

    I had my SIM card replaced the first day I took delivery.. My iPhone 6 would not connect to LTE .
