Awesome news. Apple has just released iOS 7.1 beta 5 to developers and those who have developer access. ;) No word yet on what's new, but it's one step further toward public release, which is good.

Have you updated yet? Anything new?

They fixed the shift key shading issues and changed the caps lock appearance.

Never? Not even to talk to family who don't live near you? I get talking on the phone less, but not never. I text/email family, but I still talk to my parents and sister every week. I can't relate. You made me feel old...;)

no, then they know you pressed the button because it goes right to voicemail. you have to let it ring so they think you just "missed" the call.

Damn. I do that sometimes, but never returning a call is kind of rude. If you don't intend on ever answering, why not just inform them that you will decline all future calls and ask them to only use texting/email so you don't have to pretend like you're missing the calls?

well, I didn't mean "never" quite so literally. friends and family know I don't talk on the phone. I return other calls if I have to.

Yeah, I don't think most people talk on the phone much anymore. I think the carriers count on that and only offer unlimited talk because the majority rarely use the feature. I spend an average of four hours a day talking on the phone. I couldn't do it without BT headsets, though. AT&T probably wouldn't mind losing me to Verizon or T-Mobile...

My wife and her sisters talk non stop for hours. She'll start with a full charge and talk til her phone goes dead. I'm not much of a phone talker either. I like the conversations short and to the point.
