I just dumped Bank of America for Ally, so no. I'm not too concerned about it though, most transactions I just use credit cards for.

My bank is so ancient that Amish people run it, so I doubt it.

Good question! I'll have to give mine a call. They're a relatively small outfit with maybe 15 bank locations. Mostly local here.

It is not too dependent on the bank as it is whether or not it is American Express, Visa, or Mastercard. I'm pretty sure that companies like Chase, Capital One, and CreditOne will jump on board

My bank is not listed, nor do I do business with very many of those listed. McDonald's is the only one. For me, Apple Pay is just more BS like iBeacons. There's no way for me to benefit. There's just too little business participation.

At least they are teaming up with McDonald's. Obesity has never been easier! :p

You do know it's only about 12 1/2 hours since the keynote, right? The phones aren't even available yet.
You do know I live in Alabama, where things are slow to change. I doubt Peck Hardware and the 3C Grill will be accepting Apple Pay anytime soon. It took forever for some places to start taking debit cards. Some still don't.
Alabama has only 2 Apple Stores.

I'm with a local credit union so probably not. Why would they limit themselves to certain banks? Why don't they just accept Visa, MasterCard, Amex like Google Wallet?

You know what would be awesome? If there was an Apple store in every area. :p

Apple pay does support visa, Mc, and Amex. Maybe the supporting banks part is in regards to transactions in the brick and mortar bank itself - an alternative to swiping your debit card and entering your PIN.

I hope so. That would be awesome if it worked with any Visa card. My bank and credit union aren't supported by Apple Pay.
