You must've never ordered an iPhone online, you'd know you're wrong. Ordering it on Apple is your safest bet

I will say this, I have no cold hard facts, but....Att has been trying to get us out of the unlimited data plan for a long time. Any chance they get.....I'm jus saying....

If they throttle you to unusable levels, I don't think they really care anymore

I spoke to ATT&T today and the data plan stands unchanged (grandfathered in for unlimited) unless you specifically change it when ordering

Also just confirmed with a regional manager with AT&T that you will not loose any grandfathered services. All you are doing is changing the phone, not your plan. Not matter if you buy it at ATT or Apple.

If you go through checkout on the Att site, the choice to keep your unlimited plan is there. Just have to check the correct box.

I went through checkout with the Galaxy S 2...but which phone you choose doesn't matter.

Thanks for the feedback all, i must have had a misinformed rep. But if it came to a choice of losing my unlimited data, and upgrading, probably would not upgrade. Need my data.
