I am thinking about purchasing a 4GB, but before I do that I wanted to get some feedback on the warrtany plan with Apple. When you have a problem for exmaple: Bad sensor or the phone bricking, do you send in the iPhone via mail and wait for a new one in the mail or does Apple care referr you to a Apple store to pick up a new one?

When you experience an issue with your iPhone. You would call Apple's tech support and they will try to help resolve your problem over the phone. If the problem is can not be fixed over the phone, they will tell you to send your phone to them and they will do any necessary repairs that are needed. Bricking your iPhone is almost impossible to do, so that should not be something to worry about.
