Called them today about my contract and they can not bump my contract so I can get a new phone!

Anyone experiencing the same issue?

What do you mean by "bump" your contract? Are you due for a new phone? I plan to get a new one, as my iPhone 4 is over two years old now--will I be able to do that?

Haven't called them yet, but I'm not even up to a year, so I'm expecting a big NO!

He's asking for early upgrade to get subsidized pricing.
You should be good to go if your contract is past 2 years....

If you renewed your contract more than 2 years ago, you are eligible for a full upgrade.

Well here is my issue! I got the 3G and was able to upgrade to the iPhone 4, then a year later I was able to upgrade to the iPhone 4s! All those were under two years! Why am I not eligible for upgrade for the 5? I'm getting pissed!

I have 4 lines on my plan!

Why are they allowing the last couple years to be under 2 years but not this year?

I'm 18 months, just like last year. For the 4 I was able to upgrade in 12 months.

why would they do that? because it is an iPhone? no . whether it is a Blackberry, windows phone, Android, a contract is a contract, either you are due and upgrade or your not. God, you iPhone people are so needy!

I have two lines on my family plan. In order to get this phone at the subsidized price I am opening up another line on my family plan. There is no other way for me to do this. (y)

I just had to do the same thing for my son to save some money on an iPhone before the regular upgrade. usually Apple is calling the shots on everything iPhone!

Work your magic, I'm rooting for ya!
here's what I'm thinking. Pay for the new iPhone outright, I'll be able to unlock the 4S, I already got an offer for $500 if unlocked. Prostitute myself to an old lady for 200 for a half hour. Per-order the iPhone 5.

Oh Damn! IDK if you want to open another line on your family plan since you have four. I read where the limit was 5 or 6. U can probably do another one. Just a thought.

Well my mom is thinking about getting a phone! So I could give her my 4s and take her 5! Lol
