Does anyone know if I can buy a legally unlocked iPhone in Hong Kong and still use my same ATT sim in the USA?

I only want it to be legally unlocked so that I can pop a sim chip in when I'm working in China. (Which is frequently. I'm there once every six weeks.)

TIA :)

Isn't that the purpose of an unlocked phone? ;)

Yes, you will be able to do that.

Saverino is right. I have a factory-unlocked iPhone from New Zealand and just popped in my AT&T SIM and it worked right away just as you'd expect.
