    Hello there!
    I have a question about autolock.

    Is it possible to turn off autolock for a single app?
    (So the screen doesn't turn black.)

    I don't wanna have to do it in settings every time...

    //Thx for the help!

    Auto lock & screen going dark are 2 different things. Screen going dark saves the battery. Auto lock guards your privacy, etc. What's the use case for the app?

    You can set auto lock to never but not for one app alone.

    I mean if you can set auto lock off for one particular app.

    Unfortunately this is not possible. The only workaround is to manually disable auto lock in settings. Make sure you enable it again though once you're done with the app as leaving auto lock disabled will use up your battery.

    yes, that's the problem... It would be really cool if it was possible to set different auto lock times for different apps...

    I agree. I use a hearing app called iHear. I have new hearing aids coming soon, but this app helps in the mean time. I set auto lock to never when I use iHear. But I have to remember to put it back on 1 minute. I usually notice if I forget.

    I have a habit of setting my phone down to go do something without pushing the power button to make it sleep. So 1 minute. I touch the screen enough while using it for it to stay on.

    Makes total sense, although I have my iPhone with me 24/7 no matter what. :)

    At home I set it down to do things. I may put it in my pocket like that. I don't take my phone to the bathroom at home. Too many folks drop theirs in the toilet. I haven't yet figured out how they manage doing that, but I don't want to find out the hard way. Away from home, it is with me at all times.

    It would take the gravity of Jupiter to pull my iPhone out of my hand in the bathroom! :D

    I personally find it easier to just tap the power button to lock my phone when I finish using it, before putting it in my pocket or laying it down. The habit is easier for me to develop than to change the settings constantly for an app that needs to stay active beyond the auto time.
