Hello guys! I would like to ask about the reduced battery life after os update to 4.3.3. I had a pretty good battery life before 4.3.1. Now it is significantly reduced making me to charge every day, sometimes two times. I am not a heavy user. When i use Internet on 3G, the drain is very high. Does 3G use decrease the entire battery performance? I can't use on edge since it is very slow. I am on 4.3.3 jb

But i was using that before update and I got a pretty good battery life lasted two days on average use. After the arrival of 4.3 and so on I noticed the drain is more. Any clues?

I happen to notice that the sensor for auto-brightness is more sensitive now, thus my batt life too, is down by roughly 5% since it's first day.

My battery drains faster on 4.3.3. Starting daily at 6a I'd go till 10ish before hitting 90%. Now it's 7:30a. At noon it was 75-80% now 50-60. End of the day at 11p I used to be at 30%. Now I'm charging after dinner or letting hit single digits.

I have not changed any settings.

the problems may lies in the update, another possibility is that your phone has leakage of electricity.

Thanks @ mayflower
But are they genuine? And need to open the iPhone? Oh no! I won't try that. Better I approach Apple service. But what I am afraid is they could find if I was jb? I did jb on all the updates. And now I restored though( no jb)

If you've restored, there'll be no traces of JB, since all of the original
files are restored, unless, of course, you happen to have Cydia somewhere. :p

I was jb on 4.3.3 with red snow, but when I found my battery is draining faster, I downgraded to 4.2.1 and jb with green poison. Now can I go to just 4.3 (not4.3.3) and jb with red snow? Or should I stick to 4.2.1? It seems like the battery drain is less in4.2.1. But I want hotspot feature from 4.3 Please advise.
