how much battery does bluetooth need?
i have an iPhone 5 with plantronic headset and 90 percent of the time the headset is switched off, but my phones battery is really going down fast! is that normal operation?
also it seems like my phone has a warm feeling,

I keep Bluetooth turned on all the time. Never noticed much additional drain from having it on.

I keep my Bluetooth headset connected most of the day and I never turn Bluetooth off in the settings; I just switch the headset off at night. Keeping a Bluetooth headset connected has a negligible effect on the battery. How fast does your battery drain with usage (list the type of usage as well) and in standby?

i leave it on all day, but headset off, unless i receive a call, i have a Plantronics legend,
usage for today is 4:54 and standby is 7:41,
using it for social network and emailing, battery was on 34 percent, half hour ago, been charging it since then, now on 83 percent.
