Battery percentage indicator..

So interesting note...I just downgraded back to 2.2.1 from 3.0. This is a new phone, never jailbroke...I still have the battery percentage.

1) If you never jailbroke, how did you have the % on 3.0?
2) Why did you downgrade?

There are certain files of the base OS that are prone not to write over newer versions -whether the version was from manual manipulation (like make it mine) or files by Apple, regardless of what version of firmware you are trying to install.
That's why when some people that Jailbroke and changed the carrier to "Mike" or Guess find that when they restore back to stock, the carrier is still what they changed it to when jailbroken.

No idea how that worked out for the battery percentage, unless it was something left in the backup I restored from?

No real reason to downgrade, just a couple apps I liked to use before would crash on 3.0. I'll go back to 3.0 in a couple days once I get my fill of Pocket God again ;)
