i thought there was supposed to be a battery widget but I can't seem to find it. There isn't an option to turn on the icon at the top right of screen like in the past. I can see to find "usage"

I was looking for that too. It's kind of redundant since the top of the screen shows you the battery level. Anyone know how to enable it??

Are you referring to the one in the Today screen?

I don't have that on my Today Screen. It's not even on the bottom to add. How do I get it to show up?

I don't recall an option to turn on and off the battery icon. You can toggle the % on or off. Go to Settings >Battery > Toggle as desired.

Why not? There's many widget apps that show the battery in the Notification Center. Go to the App Store and search "battery widget".

It is the battery widget to show how much power we have. It seems like it was added with the widgets with iOS 9, I just don't have it with my widgets on any of my devices.

You need to have other gizmos on. Like the Apple Watch or a bluetooth headset. I didn't see it either, so I turned on my Bluetooth headset and there it was. Turned it off and the widget vanished.

If all you have to see is the phone's battery, there's apps for that.

I think Ledsteplin is correct. It only appears if you have BT devices paired and on to see battery status.

Thank You Guys! This solves the mystery. I don't have any Bluetooth devices paired with my iPhone or iPad so I guess I am SOL on this feature! LOL!!

You need a decent Bluetooth headset. They're great. Mine I consider headphones because they're over the head. Like ear muffs. Remember those? LOL I can't keep buds and pods in my ear. I love these. You can put an SD card in them. Great sound but not that expensive.

I guess a bluetooth headset like that one would come in handy this winter! LOL! Those look like they might keep my ears toasty like ear muffs. LOL!!

They are inexpensive and they look nice! (y)Thanks for the link. Now you've got me seriously considering getting a bluetooth headset.

You may as well get one because every time Apple updates the OS it turns Bluetooth on. :D

Yet iOS still can't log on to wifi automatically when I'm on a Bluetooth call. Sad.

Go to settings and scroll down to Battery. It is a new icon in iOS 9.0
