If you like Chrome, I'd suggest grabbing the latest update. I believe the changelog was limited to one item: Fixed crashing issue or something along those lines.

I use and prefer Safari, but guessing you're looking for an alternative.

Ah thanks never noticed the update.
Well since using safari I'm getting back into it, it has a nice fullscreen and I like the reader function to it.
Was just wondering what other members use.
    So thanks :)

I do have Chrome installed and use it every so often. Same goes for desktop, where I have a little less love for Safari. Still it's my primary browser, with Chrome in second followed by Firefox.

Its funny you mention it, on my macbook Safari is my main browser with Crome my easy second.
On my windows desktop I just use google Crome.

I was having a discussion with my friend the other day, about how many different options we have now, that we did not have the option of say 10 years ago. We where stuck with Internet explorer. It is a real shame that the oldest internet browser is not one of the most experienced and popular browsers out there today. If IE explorer was as good as the adverts they make for them , they would be a good competator.

I use Perfect Browser as an alternative every so often. Lots of features, including a user agent faker (to see desktop versions of sites).

I was going to complain about sites that force users to mobile versions, but then...

Actually, Netscape Navigator preceded IE. IE eventually blew it out of the water.

    Mosaic before Netscape.

Heck, I remember using an app called Slipknot that turned a UNIX text-based "shell" Internet account into a full winsock so I could use Mosaic.

Yeah, Mosaic was the first graphical web browser. Here's the browser timeline:

I like Chrome. But then again, I'm a new iPhone 5 user so Safari might fit my needs just fine. I like the viewable tabs in Chrome. Are there tabs in Safari?

Yes. There will be a number in the lower right corner in mobile Safari. Click that and you can scroll between them. There is a max of eight tabs. If only one tab is open, there will be an icon in the same spot that you can click and then select "new page" on the bottom left.
