Restore Via iTunes or the Erase All Content And Settings on the phone itself?

I know doing a restore removes the jailbreak/unlock etc but does it remove all trace of it?

I would 'Erase all Data' and then do a full 'Restore as New' via iTunes.

Restore to factory settings in iTunes. It will remove the jailbreak and they'll replace it.

Yeah I would do like dude mentioned above. Im curious why are you sending to Apple ?
Because when I sent it away to O2 to be fixed it came back even worse than it was when I sent it away and they were meant to have replaced the board.

So im sending it away to Apple for them to fix it as O2 don't send it to Apple when they recive them they send it to a third party Apple approved repair centre.
