Say you have a crazy x that keeps calling and texting you. Is there a way that you can block incoming calls and texts?

I believe there is an application for jailbroken users that allows them to do this.

I have a friend that wants to block calls but is on a non jailbroken 3gs. He called AT&T and they said it will be 5$ a month for 15 numbers. Has anyone found out anything more about blocking calls/txts?

It would almost be easier to just jailbreak and install a call blocking app like iblacklist, MCleaner, etc. Rather than pay a monthly fee to AT&T. It's a one time fee for iblacklist or MCleaner. I use MCleaner myself and it's a pretty good app. Works for text and calls. Especially for those annoying "your warranty is about to expire" calls.

I just bought an iPhone today, I used to have Verizon and was able to block up to 15 numbers. I asked my salesperson how to do this and he did not know how, he said there might be an app for it. Any help would be appreciated, thanks...

AT & T has this feature but there is a per month charge for it.

Thanks for the link Styfle, I will check it out.

I would rather not JB my phone, I have had it only for a few days and with my luck it will crash/break and my warranty will be voided.

iBlacklist is one of the best. You have to be jailbroken though.

Sent from my iPhone using iCafe app

You might want to edit your thread title for clarity ;)

Haha, oops.. well, I also would like an app to block outcoming calls. But I guess it's only possible from jailbroken iPhones..
