Very interesting article from PC Mag and what it could mean for the iPhone 3G and next gen:

http://www.pcmag.com/article2/0,2817,2345773,00.asp

Especially this part:

Major chip manufacturers such as Broadcom and Atheros have already finalized and released chips based on the specification, but consumer products featuring Bluetooth 3.0 won't be available at least until the end of the year. However, according to Bluetooth SIG chief Mike Foley, "any phone or computer that has Bluetooth 2.1+EDR and a 802.11 G card may be able to be updated to Bluetooth 3.0 via driver, firmware, or software update" — meaning millions of existing cell phones and computers can take advantage of the new features.

Well, it's the only shame in the iPhone if you compare it
with the gigantic Nokia. Which is Bluetooth transfer...

And it's a really important feature to me and all of the people
I know. For example if a friend shows you a cool pic or a nice song
if you wanted to get it, you'll have to go through a lot of steps. In the other hand
Bluetooth transfer is lightning speed fast to get what you want.

I'm still waiting for it, Apple !
