I've heard that it's possible to have both a 6, and 6+ on the same account. This does not sound correct. Had anybody else heard anything like this?

I don't see how that would be possible linked to the same Apple ID. They would each have their own account. You can only have one device linked to an Apple ID unless there is some way to do it.

Yeah, you can do that. I have a 3GS, 5s, 6 and an iPad mini on my account. I could add a 6+ no problem.

You get a new phone and sign in with your Apple ID. That's it. You can put your whole family on the account or you can have several phones of your own if you want.

Just be sure it's only the iTunes ID. iCloud, iMessage and FaceTime should be different.

Sent from my ancient but trustworthy iPhone 5.

That's not true. iCloud, iMessages and FaceTime can be the same as well. They are the same on all of my iDevices.

I have the same thing. I have an original iPhone, a 3GS, 5S, and my 6+ all on my iTunes account. In fact when I had an iPhone 5 and my wife did we both had the two phones using the one iTunes account (this was before family sharing) so we wouldn't have to buy apps twice.
