I upgraded my 5s, and I have a 6+ . When someone calls one of my numbers, both ring. But my text messages only go to the corresponding number. Could I have triggered this in one of the settings?

This is your cellular phone number and not FaceTime, correct? You don't have an AT&T microcell connected to your router, correct?

If the answer to both questions is no, just reboot the old phone. Afterwards, it should say "No service" in the status bar and phone calls should only go to the new phone at that point.

They are 2 different phone numbers, but linked by my Apple ID because I used it on the 6s to download apps from my mini.....looks like shared Apple ID is a no-no now...

I had my 5S ring on my iPad the other day. This is a new feature to be able to answer a call if you aren't in the same room as your phone. You will be able to do this on your Mac when Yosemite is released as well.

It looks like if I turn off "iPhone cellular calls" it stops. I never thought to look under "FaceTime" for the fix
