Brand new Samsung monitor stupefies by wirelessly charging Qi-compatible Smartphones

There's a new monitor in town, and it's about to knock your socks off. Sansung Electronics has just unleashed its SE370 line of monitors, with wireless charging capabilities in tow.

The monitor will come in two sizes: 23.6" and 27" (59.9 cm and 68.58 cm, respectively) , both at an aspect ratio of 16:9. Unfortunately, the monitor does not excel in the resolution department. Both models appear to have been yanked straight out of the year 2010, maxing out at a resolution of 1920 x 1080.

With more and more PCs and Macs supporting 4K resolution, this monitor certainly isn't the one you'll want in order to watch those 2160p videos in their full glory. Granted, there aren't too many of those videos available at this time, but if you're a future-proofing junkie, then you'll want to look elsewhere.

As I stated in the thread title, this monitor can wirelessly charge your Smartphones, but only those that are Qi-compatible. The iPhone is not one of them.

At least the wallpaper is nice:
