There should be a security code to the right of the signature panel. I've never seen a VISA/MC w/o a security code. Perhaps those debit cards that can be purchased at the register are an exception.

The security code is the three digit code on the back of your card. It's the last three digits next to your seam where you signed the card.

Debit cards are exactly like credit cards, but has its advantages, Well I think that we can buy app using debit card, Debit cards may also allow for instant withdrawal of cash, acting as the ATM card for withdrawing cash and as a check guarantee card.

Not in all cases. Have a friend who could not get his visa branded bankcard to work as a form of iTunes payment. As he owns no credit card it was pretty frustrating for him.

my bank says that they don't support internet transaction. that's why they didn't put the security code on the back of the card.

Looks like its time to switch banks. I don't understand how they can justify that. I pay all of my bills online now.

Just do like my wife and I do and buy iTunes cards. That way you don't have to worry about deducting every app purchase from your checkbook, and it even gives you your current balance from the App Store.app. No possible way to overdraft my account, no sharing my credit card/debit card info with Apple (which I'm sure is perfectly safe, but I figure the less I put it out there, the better), no worries!

My wife had problems with her debit card. The problem was the bank had some wrong information, such as an old address associated with the card. Call the bank and make sure all your information is correct and see if that helps.
