I want a different iCloud email and I would like to use a gmail account that gets pushed to the server. I currently use the gmail account that gets pushed so I can get the emails ASAP. Any workaround?

Could I keep my iCloud email the same some that's the gmail that pushes my email ASAP? And then just change my iTunes app id to download apps under a new id? My old id is packed with apps that it takes too long for a backup.

iCloud does not back up apps only data from those app, unless you choose not too). The amount of apps associated with an id have nothing to do with backup of your device so getting a new id will not decrease the time to backup unless you remove the apps from the device.

Then delete some apps ;) I dot quite understand the 'my old I'd is packed with apps and it takes too long to backup' comment.
If you delete some unused apps, they don't backup to your cloud account. ?

Doesn't iTunes show all of my downloaded apps in the Cloud?

So what exactly do you want with the gmail?

You can forward all you're gmail to the iCloud address and it will go there.

I have the 2 accts setup. Gmail for email and iCloud for contacts and calendar cause the syncing is so much better than gmail
