I use an older iTunes where I can still mod my iPhone..

Apple is introducing new versions of iTunes that wont allow you to mod, but have more features, which is good.

Down the line, lets say I want to update my iTunes to get new features, does this mean i will never be able to mod again? or are they just making it harder or what? I love my NES and it'd take a lot for me to get rid of it

I would think that with time the people that make modding available will be able to get around the little locks in iTunes and thereforee we will be able to upgrade to a newer iTunes, newer firmware, etc. but it just a matter of waiting it out.
