Can not print from iPhone 3G

    Hi all , just joined!
    Print does not come up with other options, checked my settings with my daughters phone, which does work on my printer ?

    well, a couple question we need to ask first.
    1) what iOS version are you running on your iPhone
    2)What model and firmware is your daughter using?
    3)what print function are you trying to use? Airprint?

    Phone won't print

    Thank's for reply No Idea ! ,where do I find the info on the phone. it came through T Mobile Orange and is using their network. Safari , as installed and dlink router.

    CLick Settings-> General -> About to find out what version of the OS you are running. The model will be stamped on the back of the phone unless it's the first or latest iPhone.
    I can tell you that if your phone is a 3G or older, I don't believe it can take advantage of AirPrint. There are a number of key features that are left out of the 3G's OS.

    can not print from iPhone

    My daughters iPhone is a 3gs. This seems to comfirm your suspicions .Can i buy a update from Apple , as it is my property,not contract ?

    Updates for iPhones are free. The print feature is only available from iOS 4.x and only 3GS and 4 have it. Hope this clarifies things...

    Best to stick to iPad and PC for printing, until I change ! Thanks for all your help ! Cheers!

    Since my last post ,I wondered if I can buy an upgrade to 3GS from Apple direct. ?
