    Not an internet access issue.
"Cannot connnect to iTunes Store" appears when using App Store or iTunes icon.
    iTunes software is up-to-date.
Have tried restarting and resetting iPhone.
Have deleted all settings and restored from backup.

Local Apple store exchanged phone and music, apps, etc. installed as new phone - not from backup.
Everything worked for about 3 weeks.
Now "Cannot connnect to iTunes Store" again appears / no access to iTunes.
    Ideas?

Are you a stock phone or jailbroken?

jailbreak means to have your phone free to be able to do what you please with it not what Apple locks you to.

Try and reset your network (Settings -> General -> Reset -> Network)

Try going to Settings>Store and pressing on your Apple ID and logging out/back in again.

I have tried logging out / in of Apple ID.
Apple ID works fine with online iTunes store; it is iPhone that cannot connect to iTunes/App Store

Hi I'm new here but reading through gave me an idea... I've seen that sometimes when this happens, I get a message asking me to check Date and Time... So I just did the following:
Settings/General/Date & Time.... I chancged the year to 2009... when back one level to General then back to Date & Time and fixed the year back to TODAY's.... Then back to iTunes or AppStore and no problem this time...
13:24 PS: Did work w/ iTunes, but when I tryied AppStore, I had to reboot my phone... maybe not so good after all!

    • Make sure that your iOS software is up to date by connecting your iOS device to iTunes and clicking on Check for Update in your device's Summary page in iTunes.
    • Check and verify that you are in range of a Wi-Fi router or base station. If you are on a 3G capable device, make sure that cellular data is turned on from Settings > Cellular Data.
    • Check to make sure other devices (portable computers, for example) are able to connect to the Wi-Fi network and access the internet.
    • Try resetting (turning off and then on again) your Wi-Fi router
Note: If connected to 3G, larger items may not download. You may need to connect to Wi-Fi to download apps, videos, and podcasts.

Reset your Internet connection/router, that's probably the issue. Does your email and Internet browser work when on wifi ?
