Can't delete app

    Can some one help me and tell me how to delete my unwanted app from my iPhone, I can't delete it from my iPhone directly

    If it's a stock app, it can't be deleted. For others, hold your finger on it, until the icons start to jiggle, then tap the little x that appears.

    Thanks but if I hold my finger on d app it just jingle but it does not bring and x icon on d app .. For many people it works but for mine is not working. Can u give me some idea pls.

    Is it a stock app or is it an app installed from Cydia? what is the app?

    @ jibby71. I don't know what is a stock app. Can u tell me what is a stock app pls ?

    There are apps that come already loaded onto the phone, like maps, weather, stocks, etc...whatever was there when you turned it on for the first time. I don't use most of those either, but I don't know of any way to delete them, so I just move them to a different "page".

    Thanks, I got it. But the ones am trying to delete are not stock apps. They are some of the apps I download and i want to get Rid of them .

    What apps are they? Through the app store, or cydia, or other?

    Settings > General > Restrictions > make sure Delete Apps is not toggled off.

    If you are on IOS5 another way to delete apps is to go to settings -> general -> Usage (wait for apps to load) select your app then choose Delete App.
