It all depends. However, I recommend saving up and then getting the 15". You will not regret that decision, it's beautiful.

13" is just way too small for me.

PS: Europa picked the 13" because she's a girl. :p

i refuse to pick one, but i will point out a few things:

1-why would you even consider a powerbook g4? i mean i have one too, but if you want to buy a new one, buy a kickass one

2- 15" is more expensive mostly because the hard drive is larger, which when it comes to speed, doesn't really matter.

3-13" is easier to lug around.

1. I agree.
2. You can get a 13" with a big hard drive.
3. I agree. Go with a big desktop monitor and a small laptop, so it's more portable.

I'm in agreement with, Europa. I believe 13" is more than enough, I think a laptop should be small, but not too small. 13" is a nice size.

Get the 13" and use it with an external monitor/keyboard/mouse at home.

edit: I see the decision has been made on 13. Good one! :eek:k:eek:k

I have a 15" MBP because the 13" models were not out at the time. I think they came out about 6 Mo. later. Anyway, this is one reason why I am considering the iPad. The 15" Mac is a bit bulky to lug around locally, don't mind if I'm going out of town so much. So if the 13" had been out at the time, I would have given it a hard look and probably went with it and an external monitor.

a lot of this depends on your use. is it going to be your only computer? or is it going to supplement something else? what are you going to use it for?

i would personally go for a 13" because i have a nice desktop that is my workhorse.

What do you do or plan to do with your computer?

edit: do'h, didn't see the above reply say pretty much exactly what I said.

Here's why I ask...if you're a programmar or artist on the go, you're gonna want more resolution (15") but for pretty much ANY other use case the 13" will be fine. (except for gaming with the 9400m GPU)
