ok i had MIM, and i changed my carrier for about a day

then when i went to revert it back, all i get was the original T-Mobile Logo, then when i go into customize to change the logo to the better looking T-Mobile it wont change.

everything on my status bar changes except the carrier logo!

I know exactly what's wrong and how to fix it.

download iswitcher, and open it.

go to settings and select the carrier logo and wallpaper options.

then, click the restore,

and choose the one that uses your settings (I can't remember which one it is)

after a bit, your logo will be reset, after which, you can go back into customize and screw around to your hearts content.

tried it...it doesn't work

i don't want to do a full restoration because it's going to be too much work to get everything back, plus i don't have my numbers backed up

any suggestions anyone?

And in attempt at redemption:

Did you restore from a backup or as a new device?

ooohhhhh... that's a permissions issue..

yeah, let me ask our expert (x999x) what you should do..

Point of advice = Never restore from backup.
