I would like to make the following change to the permissions via OpenSSH,

/bin/chmod +s /Applications/StatusStyle.app/StatusStyle

I don't know exactly where to type the command?

Any suggestions?

Go into Terminal type in:

shh root@iPhone IP ADDRESS GOES HERE

Then type in your password which is either alpine or dottie, then type in that command. :D

in WinSCP, press PuTTy terminal, and type it in. you can also find the file on your own, press options, and change them yourself.

finally, you can use term-vt100 on the iPhone itself.

I typed shh root@ip addr, and got, shh: Command not found.
My bad I put shh, I mean ssh. :p

But you can try and do it on the iPhone with Term-vt100 like he said.

For future reference, where do I find term-vt100 through ssh?

Thanks
Term-vt100 is an iPhone application. It's basically terminal on the iPhone...nevermind that's EXACTLY what it is.

that way, instead of issuing commands from terminal via a ssh connection, you can do them directly from the phone.

it will ask you for password - its alpine. dottie is for 1.0.2 or earlier. m
