My iPhone kept showing this "charging is not supported with this accessory" message at times when I charge my iPhone.

    What does this means?

    Can someone help me? 

If you are using an audio dock, it's probably not designed for the iPhone, or it simply doesn't support charging. I have a Tivoli that I use with my iPod nano. Same thing. Works perfectly, but doesn't charge.

I ran into this same problem with some of the cheaper cords.

I've always been using the same charger ever since I bought my iPhone. The problem only occurred recently.

I'm charging directly via the power socket.

Seriously, I don't know whats wrong. I switched charger with my friend and it was perfectly fine for her phone.

Try to do a hard reboot on the phone. hold the power button and home button until you see it shutdown and the Apple show up. After that you can release the buttons. Try it again and see if you still get message.

    Just tried, still the same.

Its only when the iPhone is placed at certain "position" then it will charge properly.

But strangely, it doesn't occur on my friend phone. And I can charge properly using my friend's charger.

    What's wrong!

Try taking some canned air to the charging port on the bottom of your iPhone. Maybe you have some debree in there causing charging issues.

One of the pins on the card in the bottom of the phone may have some crud on it.

Maybe I'm missing something but there is a "mark all posts read" on the what's new page.
