I'm new and please be patience :). I purchased a 2 yrs contract from AT&T and an 8g 3g iPhone, I do travel a lot for businesss and wish to unlock my phone.

I have done some research, and I have found a couple of solutions. I can do a sim unlock iphone-sim-unlock.com/ or software unlock unlockiPhone20.com/. I have read there's no such a software unlock solution according to the iPhone development team at this time.

So my questions are:

1. Is the unlockiPhone20.com/ a workable solution (if the iPhone development has not found a solution)?
2. Is the iphone-sim-unlock.com/ a good solution (pros and cons please)?
3. Is the software unlock solution is a better solution?

Thanks for helping out

1. I would say no. It hasn't been done yet, and its most likely just a scam.
2. It does work, but after about a month or so, it stops working.
3. In my opinion, a software unlock would be a better solution, but it hasn't been done yet...

I've read it on EiC from a couple different members posts. I'll search and see if I can find it.
