Closing apps running in background in iOS7

Since updating to iOS 7, I have no idea how to close apps running in the background since you can no longer press an icon to get the minus signs to come up. All it does is brings the app back up. Has anyone dealt with this issue yet?

Just flick them up towards the top of the screen.

But be sure to flip up on the large pic of the app. If you start at the icon and try to flip or swipe up it doesn't work.

Obviously I'm still doing something wrong cause that is not closing apps. Any suggestions?

If swiping the screen preview doesn't work, then it isn't working right. Maybe try rebooting your phone and trying again.

Hi. I was wondering how to close programs on the iOS 7. I used to have only to push down on the button twice then press down on the icons and delete them one by one, but that's no longer an option, and it's draining my battery.

I also preferred the way I could slide my finger to the right to have the option of deleting a message (incidentally, is it feasible to revert to the previous iOS?).

Please advise.

Thanks.

Mona

Thanks everyone. I got that one figured out, but finding new issues regularly. I guess it will just take some time to learn and for all the bugs to get worked out.
