According to Apple, "Your battery is designed to retain up to 80% of its original capacity at 500 complete charge cycles."

coconutBattery (for OS X) makes it easy to determine how many of those complete charge cycles you've used up (kudos to @Ledsteplin for turning me on to this app).

Here are my results. Bear in mind that I'm a Professional Battery-Life Optimizing User (PBLOU).

So you have to be on a Mac to check battery stats on an iPhone? Battery Health app for IOS seems to accomplish the same thing.

coconutBattery for the Mac is one way to reveal battery health information, but I never stated it was the only way. There may be any number of iOS apps that will also accomplish the same thing.

I caught the Battery Health app on sale for 99¢. I tested it on my old iPhone 5. I still use it for utility purposes. A full charge will evaporate in a day, even if I don't use it at all.
This is bad! Real bad! :D

Any idea why? I've been using it for a couple months and like it.

Not sure. Apple must not have wanted it to show that info. No other apps do.
I use it and like it as well.
